    Where is the truth now?

  2. fresca says:

You all should decertify the CEP……its just ridiculous to pay them as much as you do for what you get….which is stabbed in the back so they can stay operating

    • cepd says:

well the reps came up with a tentaive agreement and stayed strong compared to the other 3 unions which accepted a raw deal and bent over backwards when things got tough..

  3. cepd says:

people like you FRESCA are not made to stand strong only to bend over and take it deeper

  4. fresca says:

The only ones who bent me over and took my dues while they put it in deeper was the CEP….I always knew the company was out to rape me but yet I paid the CEP to do it to me to save their asses….that’s why I got out of it….You cepd are either young, delusional, naive, or a member that is unskilled and will forever be the one to be bent over as you are stuck in this dead end game….big time!

  5. cepd says:

HA HA HA MAYBE YOU SHOULD READ THE NEW COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT THAT WAS JUST AGREED TO AND LOOK AT THE OTHER COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT THE ONES THAT COULDNT FIGHT TO GET

NOT MY FAULT IF YOU AINT A FIGHTER

I HAVE OVER 20 YEARS IN THAT MILL AND PROUD OF CEP NEGOTIATING TEAM TO STAY STRONG NOT LIKE USW AND IBEW

  6. 3yearstogo says:

ya come on fresca steelworkers and ibew all folded while cep dug in and reached a superior deal in Kap yet you come out and take shots at cep? IBEW and Steel now have to put cap in hand and ask for the gains made by CEP while IBEW voted 89% for an inferior deal because they were scared of a strike. Whats your opinion on IBEW for folding for an inferior deal? I like a good debate, but your bias isnt even rational anymore.

I am not regarding to what the CEP at Spruce Falls when I posted here or what was done by CEP at your location….I am sure you all chose the lesser of two evils here when deciding CEP vs IBEW or USW…..My point is I have seen what was allowed to pass for contracts in the East by the CEP and it was more in the name to keep membership numbers rather than protect said membership. There is no union down here anymore except to collect union dues….Its that simple.

  8. 3yearstogo says:

Lets get this right Fresca, now you are posting comments on a spruce falls story bashing the CEP where it was actually the only union that stood up and made gains over IBEW and Steel, but you werent talking about this location??? Do you just look for every story to take shots at CEP regardless of what the story is even about? You need some good therapy bud!!

At th union hall for the vote we all stood in silence for one minute for workers that had lost their lives in the bc sawmill fire.

At the mill when we returned that was not offered by management.
