At tonight’s meeting of the unionized workers of the former NewPage Port Hawkesbury mill, the employees were presented their offer from Pacific West Commercial Corp.
The workers have decided to take some time to consider the offer and will reconvene at a meeting on Saturday afternoon.
It is expected that the workers will decide on Saturday if they wish to vote on the offer.

Wish I could be a mouse in the corner, so I could hear the CEP trying to sell you down the river.
I’m a physic, the boys we will take whatever garbage is thrown at them. The race to the bottom will continue!
It’s pathetic that Stern can offer so little in return for the 1 billion in tax credits that he has received when purchasing the company.
