There is a big 200 hectare fire burning in the Kelowna area of British Columbia right now that has forced 12,000 people to flee their homes.
Since the fires started Saturday afternoon, flames have destroyed at least 9 buildings, including three houses, and charred 3 square kilometres in West Kelowna.
About 4,500 homes in the Glenrosa neighbourhood had to be evacuated because of the largest of at least two fires.
As of last night, the fires were being attacked by 45 firefighters, 8 airtankers, and 6 helicopters.
