Remember Arbec Forest Products and its failed plan to take-over and re-open the oriented strand board plant in Miramichi, New Brunswick that Weyerhaeuser closed in 2007?.
A Right to Information request has resulted in the release of almost 200 pages of letters to and from Arbec, Weyerhaeuser and provincial officials, and other supporting documents Arbec provided to the province between August 2008 and May 2009.
The Miramichi Leader newspaper is piecing together the documents into a timeline. You can read Part 1 today:
