Ontario Premier removes Forests from Natural Resources

Dalton McGuinty, Premier of Ontario, announced today that he was moving Forests out of the Ministry of Natural Resources department. Now Forests will join Michael Gravelle's Northern Development and Mines department and will be called the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry.
The reasoning was that the forest industry plays an important role in Ontario's Northern communities.
