Kruger cuts 130 jobs in Corner Brook

The announcement has been made regarding potential job cuts at Corner Brook Pulp and Paper this morning.
Kruger has announced that it will be cutting 15 managers and approximately 55 unionized positions from the mill. There will also be cuts affecting 60 forestry workers, for a total of 130 workers.
The No. 4 paper machine, that has been idled since March, has now been shut down indefinitely. Two paper machines will continue to operate.
