LOL... Hmmm.... well this post is just a tad bit different than the previous release!!.... It isn't 50 pple fired due to drug use, its 3 pple fired due to drug use & 47 pple laid off (welcome to the club) until either a) they meet whatever safety regs their employers want (actually curious about that... anyone in the know?... well please post for us so we understand!) or b)there is another bad ass fire in their vicinity & they are needed by their company! (all companies are the same in this regard, if they need you... ur a great employee, if they don't?... well then you are the scourge of the earth & just another liability!)

Have to say, until this new release i was figuring that these 50 firefighters were the victims of trying to put out a forrest fire & in the middle of it was a BC Guerilla grow opp & they were just on the receiving end of the smoke! :)

I received a reply on this issue... posting it here for all to see, it does explain things a bit more!... If anyone else has a comment?... well please log in & post yourself... i mean i don't mind doing this, but really... it is a much more functional site when others post what the think, other than getting someone else to do it for you!....

The reply!.."Each fire fighting contract crew of 5 or 10 men have to obtain basisc fire fighting certification each year, called Suppression 100, or S-100 courses, each crew must have at least 1 Danger tree assessor and 1 medical trained employees working alongside each crew of 5 or 10. These crews did not have the appropriate number of certified DTA or Danger Tree Assessors "on the fire line" and thus were sent home.
