187 employees at Tolko's veneer and lumber operations in Kelowna, British Columbia headed back to work today.
The workers have been off the job since late March.
Operations were able to resume due to the lower Canadian dollar and the increased price of lumber on the world market. Tolko Kelowna's Site Unit Manager Greg Maralia says markets remain uncertain, and Tolko will continue to review their operating stance on a week-to-week basis.
