Canfor has recently announced its revised sawmill shutdown schedule for this summer.
Clear Lake sawmill, south of Prince George: 2 week shutdown, starting June 29
Houston sawmill: 1 week shutdown, starting June 29
Isle Pierre: 1 week shutdown, starting July 6
Quesnel: 4 week shutdown, starting July 13
Prince George Sawmill: 2 week shutdown, starting July 13
Fort St. John: 2 week shutdown, starting July 20
Polar sawmill: 2 week shutdown, starting July 27

Canfor is still planning on starting up one of its Mackenzie sawmills on one shift beginning in early July.
The summer closures are in addition to recently announced indefinite closures at three Canfor sawmills, including Rustad Bros. which will close this month or next.
Canfor has already indefinitely shut down sawmills in Mackenzie and Chetwynd and panel plants in Fort Nelson. The company also decided not to rebuild its plywood plant in Prince George, which burned down last spring.
