AbitibiBowater will not be reopening its Thunder Bay kraft mill on Friday (originally scheduled for today).
The reopening is now delayed until March 10th.
'Continued depressed market conditions are the cause,' of these delayed re-openings, said Sue Prodaniuk, a spokesperson for AbitibiBowater.
The paper mill has been down since Feb. 1, and the pulp mill shutdown on the Feb 4.
The newsprint operation will resume on March 16th. Woodlands workers returned to work last Friday. The sawmill reopened yesterday.
