Comeau Lumber of Meteghan, Nova Scotia is closing indefinitely this week.
Comeau Lumber, established in 1906, built a solid reputation over the past century, and administered, funded and supported silviculture programs.
The closure affects close to 50 people
“We’re just the latest victim in another miserable forest industry downturn,” President and General Manager Greg Shay said.
