Fraser Papers - lost US$21.3 million in the third quarter, down from a year-ago profit of $24.7 million.

Canfor - posted a net loss of $94.2 million or 66 cents a share for the third quarter, reversing a net profit of $64.2 million or 45 cents a share in the second quarter and a $42.1 million loss for the third quarter of 2007.
