There will be a news conference on Monday in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Word is there will be 'a significant announcement about financing' for the proposed Thunder Bay Fine Papers operation at the former Cascades mill in Thunder Bay.
If the sale goes through the local purchasing group believes the re-start of the idled operation could create 340 full time jobs.
Since Cascades idled the mill, there have been two major announcements that the re-opening of the mill was imminent, but both attempts failed due to funding.
