The on-going deals and negotiations aiming at purchasing and reopening the Cascades paper mill in Thunder Bay, Ontario have fallen through.
The group of people involved in attempting to restart the mill, known as Thunder Bay Fine Papers, confirm that talks with a Nova Scotia based investment group have broken down.
The group says they will continue to look for new financing so they can re-open the mill that has been idled since January 2006.
