A meeting was held today for the union employees of St. Marys Paper in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Scattered information coming from that meeting indicates that St. Marys Paper has refused the government supported union proposal on how to keep the mill operational.

Employees are said to be “not very optimistic” for the future of the mill.
